So This Happened - Bekah and Marama
Brought to life by animation, So This Happened is a webseries that looks at real stories of harassment, verbal and physical, as told by those who have experienced them.
I was assigned to animate the episode ‘Bekah and Marama’s Story’, where a mother and daughter talk about their experiences of raising a tomboy in a gender-normative world.
The episode launched on TVNZ OnDemand, TVNZ’s Youtube Channel and Facebook page at the end of June 2018, reaching over 50,000 views.
