Risks of consumer DNA testing
Academic researchers Andelka M Phillips and Samuel Becher brought me on board to create an animation summarising their research into the risks of consumer DNA testing. Andelka and Samuel wrote the script before handing it over to me to complete storyboarding, illustration and animation.
We decided upon using simple graphics/icons and a single main character, to keep things relatively quick and simple to produce. These were paired with various background textures to give the style a little more depth and visual interest.
