Butterflies - Short story animation
This is an animated version of of New Zealand author, Patricia Grace’s story ‘Butterflies’. It was used as part of an online course. This project was also a really great opportunity to collaborate with New Zealand artist sojushots, who did all of the hand-drawn character illustrations.
As well as animating the video, I also illustrated the backgrounds, making sure they complimented the characters.
