360° Christmas
This was Open Polytechnic’s first attempt at a 360 degree animation. We decided it would make a fun end of year 'christmas card', and a good chance to test out the new 360 plugins for After Effects. We also wanted to make it a team exercise, so we had our whole design/video team help with the illustrations. I provided a base template for the character designs, and five other team members used it to design their own characters.We went for simple, looping animations, so that the movement would continue no matter where the viewer was looking.
